Font - O 2 S 1 AITA for not trading my vegan meal with vegan who got a non vegan meal? Not the A-hole When I was invited to a friend wedding I got a card to indicate which meal I wanted. They were offering a choice of a meat dish or a vegan dish. The meat dish they were going to serve is one of my least favorite things. When I eat it I have to spit it out and feel like gagging because it taste so bad to me. Since I have such an aversion to the meat dish I decided to check off as wanting the vega

Font - Some of the people at my table notice obey us of the other guests at a neighboring table is having issues because they got served the meat dish instead of the vegan dish and they are vegan. The waiter goes back to check in the kitchen to get her a vegan dish. Meanwhile my table is being served and I get the vegan dish I ordered. One of the people at my table noticed that I have a vegan dish. He knows I am not a vegetarian/vegan so he questioned if I got the lady at the neighboring tables

Font - By this time the waiter comes back and explains to the lady that there was a mistake and they do not have another vegan dish as they were only told a certain amount of vegan dishes. So a guy from lady's table comes over to me and asks me to trade. I told him I really can't stand the meat dish. He gets argumentative and says it's doesn't matter if I don't like it, I can still eat it and she can't. I said no again. He says I'm being a picky little baby and tries to take the plate. Than anot

Font - Later when it's time for cake I get a vegan dessert. It looks just as good as the cake, but I think about offering to trade the vegan dessert with the lady as I see she got the cake. I ask others at my table. They say not to because it will just get the man mad again and they saw that he was drinking a lot so I don't. Later as everyone is leaving though I hear a comment from the guy again saying that me "the fake vegan" apparently has issues with cake too. Edit. Apparently a lot of people

Font - NTA. I worked a lot of weddings. This isn't your fault, it is the venue's fault (or caterer). If the wedding has multiple options to allow guests to choose from in advance, then the chef or manager is to ensure there is enough for the wedding. I.e. where I worked, they even have a couple of extra options on hand (I.e. a extra vegetarian dish) just in case something happens. Besides, there are also incidents where a person would get serve the other meal option if there is an allergen in th

Rectangle - VeritatemQuarens · 18h Partassipant [3] NTA, that man was being so obnoxious and entitled. You're no more a 'picky baby' than the vegan woman, and you weren't the one who made the mistake. That situation really sucks for her, but it wasn't your fault or your responsibility to deal with. Font - Ok_Smell_8260 · 10h Partassipant [1] NTA. You put in a reasonable order and got what you asked for. It was either the caterer's error, or the vegan guest not bothering to pre-order. Not reasonable to expect you to eat something you don't like just because another guest doesn't respect the host enough to RSVP properly. G Reply 仓24 + ...

Font - Marzipan_civil · 12h Partassipant [2] NTA being vegan isn't a medical condition (obviously some people may become vegan to help manage dietary needs, but most vegans are vegan by choice). Font - ElizabethHiems · 9h Certified Proctologist [20] NTA. And she doesn't have an allergy. She could have just eaten the dish. What is the difference? She doesn't like the meat dish? He doesn't like the meat dish? There is no difference here at all. Also the caterers should have fixed it, it's what they over charge you for. G Reply 2 3 ... +
